Vespa Club Portugal was officially created on August 14, 2009. The purpose of creating Vespa Clube de Portugal is the representation of Portuguese Vespisti, before external entities Vespa World Club, international clubs and partners.
One of the steps that marked the creation of Vespa Clube de Portugal was the absence of an entity when applying for an international event, as happened with Vespa World Days 2010. Vespa Clube de Portugal is a non-profit association that supports to all their vespista member clubs. We are currently more than 38 associated clubs.

Vespa World Club was created on March 14, 2006 by Piaggio & CSpA and the Piaggio Foundation to promote, unite and coordinate all existing Vespas Clubs in the world.
